This weekend we’re headed back to the streets! Royal Street in Mobile, Alabama, that is. Since this is our second visit, we’ll be wrapping up all of the content that we need to get so we can start cutting the picture sometime next week. We’ll be able to reach our March 9th deadline without a problem! I’ll have you up to date as it all progresses!
Boom! This is a little piece of ink I got this past weekend from Royal Street Tattoo in Mobile, Alabama while we were down there shooting our documentary. My man Drew Epp did a killer job, and naturally the entire process was documented on our Canon 7D. I’ve been bringing the footage into Avid these past two days and it looks amazing. I can’t wait until I start cutting it. We’ll have a complete release of the documentary done the first week in March - scored, colored, and spiced up with a little bit of Royal Street flavor.
This was a cut I put together using Avid Symphony with footage from the 2009 horror film Red Velvet. I had no affiliation with the actual film itself, and this is just a cut that was used for some editing and color timing practice.
This is a small taste of Royal Street Tattoo - a nice little tattoo shop in Mobile, Alabama. What you see above are two still images from our documentary shoot on the Canon 7D. Once the final cut of the film is out, the footage will look even tastier.
